About Konno Hachimangu Shrine
It has a history of more than 925 years, and is said to be the birthplace of Shibuya, settled down at the Shibuya Castle.
Konno Hachimangu Shrine is revered as a total guardian of Shibuya and Aoyama, and is famous as the Hachiman-sama, who has won her career, won luck, and given her a child.
It is the oldest wooden building in Shibuya Ward, with the dedication of the Generals of the Third Generation to the Iemitsu by the guidance of the Konno Hachimangu Shrine, and dedication by the Kasuga-no-Tsubone and Aoyama Houkinokami Tadatoshi.
It is designated as a cultural asset of Shibuya-ku.
