To go from Shinjuku Station to Odaiba, a train is recommended.

The train is convenient for moving from Shinjuku Station to the Odaiba area. Here are two recommended methods.

The Rinkai Line can be reached from Shinjuku Station to “Tokyo Big Sight” in about 30 minutes. The fare is 500 yen.

From the Yamanote Line via Yurikamome, it takes about 45 minutes to the center of Odaiba, and the fare is 520 yen.

However, if you use the Rinkai Line, Odaiba Seaside Park etc. will be a pretty walk from the nearest station.

■ Saikyo Line from Shinjuku Station
Take the Saikyo Line from Shinjuku Station and get on the Rinkai Line, so you can go to Odaiba without changing trains.

■ Use Yamanote Line from Shinjuku Station
Take the Yamanote Line from Shinjuku Station, get to Shimbashi, then change to Yurikamome to go to Odaiba.

How to go from Shinjuku Station on the Saikyo Line

How to go to Saikyo line
  • Shinjuku Station

    JA11

    Take the Saikyo Line from JR Shinjuku Station 1-2 platform.
    (No. 2 home will be the first train in Shinjuku)

  • International Exhibition Hall station

    R03

There are two routes on the 1st and 2nd platforms: Saikyo Line Shinkiba and Shonan Shinjuku Line Ofuna / Odawara.

Please be sure to board the Saikyo Line.
8 stations 25 minutes ride to the International Exhibition Hall station.

The station number will change, but you do not need to change trains because the Saikyo Line directly goes to the Tokyo Rinkai Railway.

If you get on the Shonan Shinjuku line

If you get on the Shonan Shinjuku line by mistake, it’s okay.

Please take the Rinkai Line Rapid Shinkiba Line at “Osaki Station”, which takes 3 minutes and 11 minutes. 5 minutes 14 minutes ride to the International Exhibition Hall station.

How to go using the Yamanote Line

Compared to the Saikyo line ⇒ Rinkai line, this is a time-consuming route.

  • Shinjuku Station

    Take the 14th line towards Shimbashi.
    Make sure that the bulletin board displays Shibuya / Shinagawa / Tokyo.

    11 stations 26 minutes ride to Shimbashi station.
    The fare is 200 yen.

  • Shimbashi station

     JY29 to U-01

    Transfer to Yurikamome at Shimbashi Station

  • Odaiba Kaihin-koen station

    U-06

    It takes about 13 minutes from Shimbashi Station to Odaiba Kaihin-koen.
    The fare is 320 yen from Daiba Station and 380 yen from the ship science museum.
