About Tokyo Daijingu

During the Edo period, visiting Ise Shrine was a lifelong wish of the people.

When the new state of the Meiji Era was born, it was built in 1913 as a shrine for Ise Shrine in Tokyo, with a view to cutting the Emperor Meiji.

Because it was first settled in the land of Hibiya, the world was called “Hibiya Daijingu”. After moving to the present location in 1955 after the Great Kanto Earthquake, it is called “Iidabashi Daijingu Shrine”, and its name has been changed to “Tokyo Daijingu Shrine” after the war, and it has reached today.

Currently, the widely held Kamizen wedding is due to the founding of Tokyo daijingu, and continues to protect and communicate the traditional marriage rituals. It is celebrated as “Ise-sama from Tokyo”, with a celebration of Amaterasu-Ohmikami and Toyouke-no-Ohmikami, the deities of Ise Shrine.

In addition, people who are said to have benefit from marriage because they are together for the creation of the Tenchi Chikusan, the three gods of creation that are in charge of the work of closeness, and that they are Shinto shrines that have created God’s wedding ceremony The worship of the people is increasing year by year, and there is a vast and unremarkable faction of God.
