Atago Shrine is located on the highest mountain in 23 wards. The god of fire is beaten and you can divide the power widely including fire prevention, disaster prevention and success of the world. The stone steps of the front 86 steps are called “the stone steps of the future.”

About Atago Shrine

During the opening of the Edo Shogunate in 1603 in Keicho 8 (1603), it was created as a fire prevention and disaster prevention god by the order of Tokugawa Ieyasu. The main festival deity is a fire god called “Homusubi-no-mikoto”.

In the strange case of Sakuradamon, the warriors of Mito rally gathered at Ehimeyama and went to apologize for Ioi elder for wishing to go to Edo-do (fired).

In addition, since it was Edo’s No. 1 mountain, Bakumatsu Katsu Kairin and Saigo Takamori climb this Ehime and look over the castle below, saying, “I will not get lost in the fires,” It is said that the bloodless castle was reached.

It was said to be a cherry blossom spot during the Edo period, but even in the middle of the office area, even nowadays, it is rich in nature and tastes, showing cherry blossoms and other seasonal colors.
