National Showa Memorial Park Yellow Leaves Autumn Festival 2019

Held “Yellow Colored Autumn Festival” at Tachikawa National Showa Memorial Park. Light up ginkgo trees and Japanese garden at night.

From February 2 (Sat) to November 24 (Sun), 2019, the “Yellow Leaves Festival 2019” will be held at the Tachikawa City National Showa Memorial Park.
This is an annual event that takes place around the middle of November when the maple leaves and ginkgo autumn leaves are in full bloom.

In November, about 300 maple maples change colors from green to yellow and red, and color the “Japanese Garden” in red.
In addition, “Katabana Ginkgo Trees”, which consists of 98 large ginkgo trees over 20 meters high and 300 meters long, creates a golden tunnel.

In addition, 106 ginkgo tree-lined roads that run 200 meters on both sides of Tachikawaguchi Canal are dyed yellow, and the national Showa Memorial Park is wrapped in autumn.

During the “Yellow Leaves / Autumn Leaves Festival”, various events such as “Nature Observation”, “Wild Bird Observation”, and “Workshop” for handmade works are also held.

In addition, this year, from “16:30 to 21:00”, we will light up “Nippon Garden” and “Kabatai Ginkgo Trees” under the title of “Autumn Night Walk”.
Why don’t you go out to enjoy the autumn leaves floating at night?
