Sunday, October 13, 2019 “Kagurazaka Haunted Cat Festival 2019” will be held in Kagurazaka, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
The main event of the festival is the “Haunted Cat Parade” that runs through Kagurazaka Odori.
A cat version of the Halloween parade will be held, where anyone wearing a costume with a cat motif can participate.

Kagurazaka “Kakeneko Parade” can be participated by paying 500 yen on the day.
A paid cat make-up service is also available for those who want to become a cat.

Neighboring shops also have “cat ear headbands” and “face pencils” for this day.
On the day of the event, in addition to the “Ghost Cat Parade”, there will also be a free-to-play cat version of Awa Odori “Anya Odori”.

In addition, from the mini-market “Bakeneko Yami-shi” lined with ghost cat bread, monster cat sweets, cat disguise goods, etc. Events such as “Find a ghost cat” (for elementary school students and younger) are also held.

Reception hours: 10: 00-13: 50
Reception place: Elderly welfare facility Kagurazaka (Tokyo Metro Tozai Line “Kagurazaka Station” immediately)
Participation fee: 500 yen for junior high school students and above, free for elementary school students and below
Eligibility: Must be dressed up with a cat theme. Even if you can take a picture of your costume.
