“Turkish Festival 2019” will be held for the first time in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo on September 7th (Sat) and September 8th (Sun), 2019.
At the “Turkish Festival” venue, there is a booth serving Turkish cuisine, which is said to be one of the world’s top three dishes.
A variety of Turkish goods such as mosaic lamps, picture plates and accessories are also on sale.
In addition, various workshops where you can experience Turkish traditional culture, such as the traditional art “Ebble” using the marbling technique, the traditional lace knitting “Oya”, and the Islamic calligraphy “Hat” are held.
On the outdoor stage, marching of the Ottoman era military band Meftel, folk dance, performance of traditional instruments, etc. make the “Turkish Festival” enliven.
