Chofu “Jindaiji Soba Festival” is held from November 23rd to December 1st.
From November 23rd (Sat / holiday) to December 1st (Sunday), 2019, the 38th Jindaiji Soba Festival will be held around Jindaiji in Chofu, Tokyo.
The history of Jindaiji soba is said to have continued since the Edo period, and there are still many soba shops and sweet shops in Jindaiji.
The “Jindaiji Soba Festival” is attended by 21 stores of the Jindaiji Soba Association.
This is a soba festival where you can purchase stamp rally ema and enjoy eating soba.
At the main event “Jindaiji Soba Tour”, you first purchase an ema on the stamp mount for 300 yen each.
If you present a stamp rally ema at participating stores during the period, you will be able to place an order of 500 yen “Slightly larger”.
In addition, “Special Soba Higuchi” will be available if you win 10 stores in the stamp rally, and “Specially Made” will be available if you win all stores (first-come-first-served basis).
On November 30th (Saturday) and December 1st (Sunday), events such as the “Sobamori Kannon Recreation Festival Soba Donation Ceremony”, product exhibitions, and Nikko Monkey Corps will be held.
