On the day of the 8th Meguro Sanma Festival on Sunday, September 8th, the fresh “Sanma” sent directly from Miyako Fishing Port in Iwate Prefecture was charcoal-burned with bincho charcoal from Minabe Town, Wakayama Prefecture. , 7,000 fish are provided free of charge.

Charcoal-grilled saury is accompanied by “Sudachi” from Kamiyama-cho, Tokushima Prefecture, and spicy radish from Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture, as “Daikon Grated Radish”.

There are also other fun events besides the free behavior of saury, such as the popular “Meguro Sanma Attendance” every year, Furusato products exhibition, shopping street wagon sale, lottery drawing, and art balloon gifts.
